The Knitting Room has a class for you! Learn a new technique, make a cool project,
or come and knit for two hours a week with a group and a teacher. AND, if you
want that one-on –one experience to learn to knit or crochet, there are
always private lessons available. The following is a list of classes offered over
the next few months. Keep watching the website for additions!!

We do request that all materials used during classes be purchased at The Knitting
Room. Unless otherwise noted, you must pre-register and pre-pay for all classes.

Tired of all the sports camps this summer? Teach your child or grandchild the great art of knitting! This camp for all kids, age 7 and up, is a great way to learn all the basics while working on a fun project. Just in time to get started on those warm hats and scarves for the winter.
NEW FOR SUMMER -- 3 WEEK CLASSES!!
$30 PER 3 WEEK SESSION
Come and join one of our regular classes without making a six week commitment. You'll work on your own project with the assistance of one of our teachers in a friendly, laid back setting. ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME! Classes are held Monday through Thursday -- 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 1 to 3 p.m., and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. CALL THE SHOP AT 248-540-3623 to check on availability.

THE "CLAPOTIS" SHAWL
SATURDAY, AUGUST 23 -- 10 A.M. - 12 NOON

You've seen it in the shop, and no doubt you've read about it on Ravelry.com. It's the knitting craze called the "Clapotis" -- a beautiful shawl or scarf made diagonally by unraveling stitches as you go. Come and learn the technique from Margaret!

LEARN TO DYE YOUR OWN YARN

Bring your kids for this great experience. Each student will learn to make a unique hand-dyed skein of yarn using Wilton food coloring. No knitting skills required!
